- A
decoction of the seeds used as a spice used as an
appetizer which also helps in digestion, and also
used as a softener of inflamed parts.
- Used
externally, the seed paste is good for cases of rheumatism,
pain of the nerves, bronchitis and for chest pain.
The leaves are used internally as food.
- The
mustard oil is quite widely used for massages.

- Taken
in infusion it helps stomach bowel cramps.
- Consumption
of small quantities of fresh fruit, will stimulate
appetite.
- Externally
used, it can be applied as a plaster to afflicted
areas for treating fheumatism, arthritis, chest pain
and inflammed pericardium i.e., the lining of the
heart.
- The
docoction of the leaves is good for gargling.
- For
toothache, extract the juice from the fruit, dip a
cotton ball in it, and after cleaning the cavity introduce
the juice.
- In
early stages of certain throat diseases and inflammed
tonsils the application of the fruit juice is helpful.
Wet a cloth with the infusion of the fruit, and place
it arround the neck. At the same time a small amount
of infusion can be taken internally.
- Powdered
fruit may be used in pill form or capsules.

- The
dicoction of the root is used as a tonic and as a
medicine for unchecked bleeding of the kidneys.
- It
also kills and expels worms from the body. A handful
of root boiled in 2 cups of water and taken during
the day.
- The
latex obtained from the fruit is also used to kill
and expel worms from the body and used also for throat
infections. It is also used for warts and corns. Fifteen
grams of the latex mixed in a cup of water makes a
powerful vermifuge.
- The
freshly extracted juice of the leaves is applied over
ulcers, eczema, warts and boils.
- An
infusion of the flowers and honey is good for influenza
and cough. Use tea spoonful every hour.
- Ten
to fifteen seeds chewed and swallowed is good to remove
worms from the body.
- The
tipe fruit holps in digestion, promotes flow of urine
and softens inflammed parts. it is recommended for
all sick people. The ripe fruit eaten with the seeds
is good for all stomach and bowel diseases and also
diabetes, asthma, jaundice, cough, chest problems,
and duodenal ulcers.
- Externally
used the fruit is applied over painful rheumatism
and used in the form of poultice in case of tonsillits.
When rubbed over the face it removes spots and srinkles.

inflammations.

to improve check leucoderma and abdominal tumours.
- Used
to improve taste and eyesight.
- Used
for the painful swelling of the womb and for painful
piles.
Dose:
Use 3 to 5 grams of seeds in one litre water. Use 3
to 4 cups a day.

- If
a good quality of the fruit os eaten, it acts as a
mild laxative and promotes the flow of urine. It used
in cases of rheumatism, kidney problems, accumulation
of liquid in abdominal cavity, painful inflammed joints,
excellive protein in blood, fevers, chronic bronchitis,
pulmonary diseases, arthritis, indigestion, obesity,
mouth and throat disease, arterial hypertension and
constipation.
- For
external use, the pounded pulp and skin are applied
for contagious skin disease.
- The
juice of the ripe fruit helps in dissolving kidney
and bladder stones.
- The
seeds roasted and ground, make a good exulsion for
the inflammation of the urinary tract. The seeds eaten,
reduce arterial hypertension and inflammation of the
prostate.
